- As our houses are self cater, please bring your own soap, shampoo & personal items.
- Starter toilet paper is provided.
- Guests must buy more after it’s finished.

Border Information
COMPULSORY 3RD PARTY INSURANCE
can be bought online (DriveMoz Facebook page) or at the Engen garagewhen you turn left towards Komatipoort about ±4km from the Lebombo border. (R250 – R300)
EXCHANGE YOUR RANDS TO METICAIS
at the Engen garage for best exchange rate. We always use Petronica (+27 82 533 4799). Do not exchange money at the border! Meticais can also be drawn at ATM’s inside Mozambique & most shops as well as restaurants take cards.
AT THE BORDER
Please remember your driver’s license & passports! Don’t let anyone assist you with stamping passports & filling in Mozambique car papers on the Mozambican side!
VEHICLE REGISTRATION PAPERS
If your is under finance – you will need a letter from the bank authorizing you to take it across the border. If you are not the owner of the vehicle in which you are travelling, you will need a certified letter from the owner authorizing you to take it across the border. You will also need a letter from your insurance company confirming that your vehicle is insured & for which countries. You also need your GREEN LICENCE (MR1) paper, from where you cut out your licence disk to be presented for your car registration at the Mozambican side.
STICKERS ON CARS & TRAILERS
Black & white ZA sticker displayed in plain sight on vehicle. The backside preferably. If towing a trailer, display a sticker with a yellow triangle on a square blue background on both the front of the vehicle & the rear of the trailer. Stickers can be bought at the border, but preferably at Outdoor Wharehouse, it’s much cheaper.
CELL PHONE RECEPTION
Roaming can be enabled (expensive) or you can install a local sim card & buy airtime at the garage on your right just after the border on the Mozambican side – Movitell or Vodacom. Sim Card ± R30.00
Important Information
- Check-in from 14:00 & Check-out from 10:00 AM (Late check-out only bt prior arrangement & approval).
- Please do not leave air conditioners running when leaving the house, & kindly close all doors & windows while using them.
- Strictly NO music or noise after 11 PM.
- Please respect fellow guests & neighbours.
- Laundry is not included in the daily cleaning service but can be arranged at an additional cost. Please request a receipt. 0-5kg – 400Mts | 6-10kg – 600Mts | 11-15kg – 800Mts
- Once the provided toilet paper is finished, guests are required to purchase their own.
- Please prevent doors from slamming in the wind, make use of the door stoppers & hooks.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the house! Kindly smoke outside & make use of the ashtrays provided.
- Pets are not allowed unless arranged in advance & confirmed in writing.
- Events, parties or gatherings are not permitted without prior written consent.
- Please note that the pools are shallow. Diving is not permitted & no climing or sitting on the sides of the pool.
